PowderCoat America Lavonia — Terms & Conditions 

 

We provide professional powder coating and related surface-prep services for customer-supplied and shop-supplied parts. Work is performed to the specifications you provide; if none are given, we will use industry-standard practices for the substrate and intended use.

 

Quotes and estimates are valid for a limited time and work begins only after you approve the quote and any required deposit. Pricing on the accepted quote covers the agreed scope; additional work, extensive cleaning, or changes requested after approval may incur extra charges.

 

A deposit may be required to schedule your job. The remaining balance is due upon completion and before parts are returned or shipped, unless another arrangement is made in writing. We accept the payment methods listed on the quote and may charge processing fees for certain payment types.

 

Turnaround times are estimates and may change due to workload, part condition, or other unforeseen factors. Expedited service may be available for an extra fee. We reserve the right to refuse work that is unsafe, illegal, or unsuitable for our equipment.

 

Customers are responsible for providing parts that are structurally sound and free of unacceptable contamination. We will notify you if parts require repair or extra preparation; such work will be billed separately. We are not responsible for hidden defects, pre-existing damage, or failure caused by the original part design or materials.

 

We offer pickup, delivery, and shipping options. Parts are your responsibility until received by us and again upon return shipment or pickup, except where loss or damage is caused by our negligence. If we arrange shipment, we will use reasonable care in packaging but are not liable for carrier loss unless caused by our actions.

 

We provide a limited warranty on our workmanship and materials for a specified period (as noted on your quote). The warranty covers defects in coating application under normal use and does not cover normal wear, misuse, chemical or environmental damage, previous substrate defects, or damage from handling or shipping. Warranty claims must be reported promptly and allow inspection by us. Remedies are limited to repair, recoat, or refund of coating charges at our discretion.

 

Our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific work. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruption, to the extent permitted by law.

 

We may subcontract parts of the job to qualified vendors when necessary and may take photos of completed work for marketing unless you request otherwise in writing. You warrant that any designs or artwork you supply do not infringe third-party intellectual property, and you agree to indemnify us for related claims.

 

If work is not claimed or paid for within the agreed storage period, storage fees may apply and, after notice, unclaimed parts may be subject to sale or disposal as allowed by law. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including supply issues, equipment failure, labor disputes, or natural disasters.
